Happy Holidays and Thank You for Everything!
We would like to wish you Happy Holidays! Obviously, no work will be carried out on the Champlain and Jacques Cartier over the next few days. We also remain in close contact with the MTQ to optimize the use of all lanes of the bridge as traffic trends.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for following on us on our blogs, Twitter, Flickr or YouTube. These networks allow us to inform you of the work that is carried out on each of our structures. To this effect, we invite you to read or reread our summary of the work that took place on the Champlain Bridge Corridor in 2011.
Thanks to these tools, we are able to keep you informed in an efficient manner and you also have the possibility to easily share our advisories with your family. For this collaboration and your ongoing support during our closures, we thank you!
2011 has been a very unique year and we realize, now more than ever, the huge challenges we face on our roads. The next several years will be particularly important in terms of the maintenance of structures in Quebec and, obviously, our Corporation will be at the heart of these challenges, as overseer of essential links between Montreal and the South Shore. Your collaboration will indeed be invaluable in helping us in the realisation of such important work. On our end, we will continue our efforts to keep you informed as efficiently and as regularly as possible concerning upcoming closures in order to help you plan your trips.
Communication will be a fundamental element in facing these challenges and issues and, we will continue to seek ways to improve and develop even better tools to keep you informed. Please do not hesitate to share any of your recommendations and ideas with us.
Finally, on this festive occasion, we wish you a wonderful holiday season filled with happiness among your loved. We look forward to hearing from you in 2012!
Thank you!
The Communications Team
André and Jean-Vincent
