Editorial policy
Welcome to The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) interactive window for the Jacques Cartier Bridge.
The primary objective of this interactive window is to present and explain the work being executed on the Jacques Cartier Bridge to the public. This showcase describes and announces the bridge obstructions to come so as to minimize the impact for users, in a spirit of complete transparency.
On the other hand, this window is also intended to allow the public to express themselves on our projects. Whether it is to pose a question, make an observation or comment on one of our posts, your opinion matters to us.
Content of the window
In addition to announcing obstructions, we intend for this site to serve as a showcase for the public to discover this magnificent feat of engineering and symbol of the City of Montreal.

Author of the posts
A single author signs the blog posts: André Girard, Vice President, Communications of the Federal Bridges Corporation.
These posts will appear regularly in keeping with the progress of the work. André Girard is assisted on a daily basis by Jean-Vincent Lacroix, Chief, Communications at JCCBI, in the preparation of the posts.
Editing of comments
Posting of comments received from the public will be edited. We reserve the right to cut comments we judge to be too long or that digress and do not have a direct connection to our projects.
We also reserve the right to censor comments that use inappropriate or offensive language. Ellipsis (…) indicates cut or censured passages in that place in the published comment
